CATS Online...
The development
of CATS Online came about due to accommodations that are “part
of the student’s ongoing instructional program”
and “for the purpose of students accessing the general
education curriculum” being allowed on the state-wide
assessment (- 703 KAR 5:070 and KDE). With the huge trend moving

having access to textreaders, there needed to be a way for students

in part with ecollege.com, makers of Kentucky Virtual High School,
Kentucky Department of Education has made the CATS assessment
available to those students who qualify.
