To take any of the tests in the online courses, you must first have been registered either as an account user or by an account user. "Placeholder pages" to the tests are placed in their appropriate places in the courses (usually at the end of the unit). However, any time you are within a unit that contains a test, you will see an icon above the lesson content:
Clicking this icon will take you to the unit test.
Tests may be re-taken so long as a score is not greater than 70%. Scoring 70% or higher "passes" the test and prevents your being able to access it again. At any point during your exam, you may save your answers to come back to continue later.
Completing a test allows you to see the correct answers, and which questions you answered incorrectly.
Note! Tests are NOT accessible through the Course Content Preview Mode, which is only provided for quick and easy access to course content using HTML frames.
Security of the Online Testing
The online testing component of iclasses.org is stable, scalable and secure. Students, teachers, or schools who choose to access this feature will be able to take tests for each course offered at iclasses.org online and in real time.
The online testing built into each course grades students' objective work. The test scores are displayed on-screen for the student to print out and submit to his or her teacher/account holder. Percentile grades, and dates that exams were taken, are available on a continual basis for the account holder (or "User") to review, after providing security credentials.
