The Nemours Foundation's award-winning Web site, KidsHealth.org, helps families answer a wide range of health and wellness questions. You'll find three separate areas, one for parents, teens, and kids, and each is filled with age-appropriate articles, interactive images, and even games, sounds, and animations. We provide hundreds of original features, all written by health professionals and reviewed extensively by expert clinicians. Our goal is to take the mystery out of childhood illness, infection, surgery, feelings, behavior, fitness, development, and the dozens of other topics affecting the health of children. The Nemours Center for Children's Health Media produces and distributes broadcast-quality pediatric video programs. Our award-winning productions cover a wide array of both physical and emotional health concerns, from asthma to physical rehabilitation to financial management for families with a chronically ill child. Our videos are distributed to families by physicians and hospitals as a key aspect of patient education.
Superior Pediatric Health Books
The Center also creates a range of useful printed materials, including guides for parents, health resource books, and children’s books. Recent publications include First Aid Tips for Parents, How To Raise Non-Smoking Kids, and Human Diseases and Conditions, a three-volume encyclopedia for teenagers.
